Show vs Working Line Dogs
Our german shepherds are show line, so what is the difference between working line and show line.
Show Line: are bred for appearance in accordance with the breed standard. They are often shown at conformation shows and exhibit intelligence, high energy, and virtual appearance according to the standard. To compete female must have at least SchH1 or SchH2 titles and males SchH1, SchH2. or SchH3. They compete at events to earn these titles.
Working Line: exhibit enthusiasm to work and are shown at trail events for tracking, obediance, and temperment.
The main difference I detect is the working line does not have the slope back that the show line exbibits.
